Cascadia Art Museum is proud to present musicians of the Governor’s Chamber Music Series performing the romantic and vibrant Four Seasons of Buenos Aires by Piazzolla, and pieces by Bartok, Foss and Still.

Pianist Judith Cohen has performed at festivals in New York, Los Angeles and across the US, in Europe and Mexico and has recorded widely.  She is Artistic Director of the Governor’s Chamber Music Series.

Violinist Svend Rønning is a veteran of music festivals around the world, he’s served as concertmaster of the Charlottesville Symphony and the San Jose Symphony, currently he’s concertmaster of Symphony Tacoma, a violinist in the Regency String Quartet, and a professor at Pacific Lutheran University.

Cellist Brian Wharton is the Auburn Symphony’s principal cellist, he has performed with the Seattle Symphony and Seattle Opera and currently with Pacific Northwest Ballet.  Brian has played with legendary performers such as Luciano Pavarotti and Smokey Robinson.

This is one of a series of monthly concerts in an intimate gallery setting surrounded by beautiful art from the Northwest — close-up and personal, as chamber music was originally meant to be experienced.

This concert is about one-hour in length at 6 PM, leaving you time to dine out after.  Your concert ticket includes admission to all the museum galleries, so make sure you come early to see Cascadia Art Museum’s current exhibits!

Seating is limited and these concerts often sell-out, so we suggest reserving your seats well in advance. Purchase tickets on the Cascadia Art Museum website.
